Potato patties


Ingredients

200g potato, boiled
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp tumeric powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
dash of pepper
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp cornflour
oil for frying

Method

1. Mash the boiled potatoes. (no need to mash until very fine).
2. Add everything to the mashed potatoes and stir to mix well.
3. Scoop portions of the potato and shape into balls, then flatten them.
4. Fry in the heated oil until slightly browned. Remove and drain. Serve well.

**Note
I used 1 1/4 tsp of salt and the patties turned out too salty. And if I attempt this again, I must remember to dip the patties into a lightly beaten agg before frying. And perhaps add in some finely chopped carrots too.
